For many cars like Toyota and Ford, your cabin filter is located behind the glove compartment. For other cars it can be accessed from under the bonnet. Today's tip will focus on the former:
- Step 1: Open up the glove compartment, press the sides and remove it from its housing.
- Step 2: From the sides, press the clips to open the filter housing cover. Remove the old filter and clean the dirt off the housing if necessary
- Step 3: With the same orientation, slide in the new filter into the housing. Then put back the cover.
- Step 4: Return the glove compartment by inserting it back into its housing. Be sure to observe the grooves where its hinges fit into.
If you are unable to remove your glove box, do not force it out in order not to brake its hinges. It can be expensive to replace. For help, schedule an appointment with our experts. You can do so at www.jiffix.com.ng OR call us on 08144246273. We come to you, at home or office.
